The Program Jelajah Pendidikan TVET Anak Sarawak is an initiative aimed at promoting technical and vocational education and training (TVET) among the youth of Sarawak12. This program showcases the talents and achievements of students who have excelled not only at the state level but also internationally3.
One of the courses offered in this program is the Sijil Kemahiran Teknikal Aircraft Maintenance Operation (Penggendalian Operasi Pesawat). This course is designed to equip students with the technical skills necessary for aircraft maintenance operations.

Content: Participants will undergo basic training in aircraft maintenance operation, including modules on aircraft systems, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations.

Qualifications for Aircraft Maintenance Course
There are several ways to obtain aircraft maintenance qualifications after SPM. The general and minimum qualifications for all IPTA/IPTS offering it are shared here. For specific qualifications, it depends on the institution offering it.
-Be a Sarawakian citizen.
-Be between the ages of 18 and 25.
-Possess a minimum qualification of SPM or equivalent.
-Have a strong interest in the aviation industry.
-Be physically and mentally fit to undergo the training program.
Interested candidates can apply for the program online through the Sarawak Skills Development Centre (SSDC) website. The application period is typically open from January to March each year.
Selection Process
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview. The selection process will be based on the candidate's academic qualifications, relevant experience, and overall suitability for the program.

The program is fully funded by the Sarawak government. Participants do not need to pay any fees.
